Default Deep Wound Question

I have a question regarding deep wound. I had run my tank(W/Mo) a lot with the Sever Artery and Gash combo, but when you get into areas where enemy isn't flesh and immune to bleeding then how effective is skills like Gash or other stuff that may inflict Deep Wound?

I normally run with a sword, but most of sword's attack skills are energy based instead of adrenaline. I was thinking of trying out a new idea (well not new, but new to me anyway) and running succor on the team monk. If I do this then I'm really hurting on energy, but if I run adrenaline skills then it shouldn't be as big an issue. Here in lies the problem, since sword skills are mostly energy based then should I then try running Axe skills which seem to have more adrenaline based ones? I would be using Battle Rage for double adrenaline of course. Thanks for any advice.

Oh, in case you were wondering, this is PvE.

Gash wouldn't be effective on undead monsters, since the foe most be bleeding in order for them to suffer Deep Wound. Also Battle Rage + Axe skills is very effective, but personally I'd prefer the elite Eviscerate or Cleave instead of Battle Rage.

Right.

Unfortunately you just triple-posted, so now you'll be banned for real.

Yeah, Gash won't work on non-fleshies, but that's just a factor of being immune to bleeding. Nothing in the game is immune to Deep Wound itself.
